Two introductory climate lectures as part of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) by the German Advisory Council on Global Change
Part 1: What's happening? Basic facts about global warming.
Part 2: Why worry? What should we do? The impacts and mitigation of climate change.
Currently three animation movies of model simulations are available:
Glacial
cycles simulated with a climate - ice sheet model
              A view of the
continental ice sheet changes over the past 400,000 years. The model
is driven by orbital parameters and CO2 variations from Antarctic
ice core data. The time in years before present is shown in the
lower right corner. (Note: this model experiment should be viewed
as a preliminary result, since the peer-reviewed publication is
              still in preparation.)
