GLOWA-Elbe

For definition und realisation as well as for management of the project a working group under administration of the PIK was formed. Members of this working group 'GLOWA-Elbe' are:

• Dr. Horst Behrendt (Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries, IGB)
• Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Cramer (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, PIK)
• Prof. Dr. Bernd Hansjürgens (Centre for Environmental Research Leipzig-Halle, UFZ)
• Prof. Dr. Volkmar Hartje (Technical University of Berlin, Institute for Landscape and Environmental Planning, TUB)
• Prof. Dr. Stefan Kaden (WASY GmbH)

Head of the group is Prof. W. Cramer, who is also responsible for presentation of the project (Deputy: Prof. B. Hansjürgens).
Frank Wechsung is responsible for scientific coordination, on Wolfgang Cramer's behalf.
Nonvoting member is Jochen Schanze (D-FRC), who is especially responsible for activities of GLOWA-Elbe relating to flood protection.

Each member of this working group is responsible for the realisation of one of the 5 subprojects.
