GLOWA-ELBE II STATUSKONFERENZ 14. DEZEMBER 2006 Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung, Telegrafenberg, Haus H Wirkungen des globalen Wandels auf den Wasserkreislauf im Elbegebiet - Risiken und Optionen

Auf der Statuskonferenz werden erstmalig Ergebnisse zu möglichen Folgen des globalen Wandels für das gesamte Einzugsgebiet der Elbe, welches große Teile Ostdeutschlands und Tschechiens umfasst, dem Fachpublikum vorgestellt. Die Klimaszenarien gehen von einer fortgesetzten Erwärmung bis zur Mitte des nächsten Jahrhunderts aus und berücksichtigen unterschiedliche Niederschlagsentwicklungen. Der Bewertung von möglichen Klimafolgen liegen Szenarien zur sozioökonomischen Entwicklung bis 2025 zu Grunde, die unterschiedliche Ausprägungen in Bezug  auf Globalisierungstendenzen, Bevölkerungs- und Wirtschaftsentwicklung sowie Umwelt- und Landwirtschaftspolitik unterstellen. Die Konferenz wird erste Ergebnisse zu Anpassungsmaßnahmen hinsichtlich der Problembereiche Wassermengen- und Wassergütemanagement im Elbegebiet vorstellen.

GLOWA-LABE II KONFERENCE 14. prosince 2006 Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung, Telegrafenberg, dům H Účinky globální změny na koloběh vody v povodí Labe - rizika a opce

Na konferenci budou odbornému publiku poprvé představeny první výsledky k možným důsledkům globální změny na povodí Labe. Klimatické scénáře vycházejí z dalšího oteplování až do poloviny dalšího století a zohledňují různý vývoj srá-žek. Možné klimatické důsledky jsou hodnoceny na základě scénářů socioekonomického vývoje do roku 2025, které vychá-zejí z různých variant globalizačních trendů, vývoje počtu obyvatelstva, vývoje hospodářství a environmentální a zeměděl-ské politiku. Na konferenci budou představeny první výsledky adaptačních opatření vzhledem k problémovým oblastem managementu vodní bilance a jakosti vody v povodí Labe.

Účast je bezplatná. Jednacím jazykem GLOWA-Elbe Status Konference bude čeština, němčina.

GLOWA-ELBE II STATUS CONFERENCE 14th DECEMBER 2006 Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Telegrafenberg, Building H Effects of global change on the water cycle in the Elbe river basin - Risks and options

At the status conference, results on possible effects of global change for the entire Elbe Basin, which covers a large part of eastern Germany and the Czech Republic, will be presented for the first time to a scientific audience. The climate scenarios assume continued warming up to the middle of the next century and take into consideration different potential developments for precipitation. Assessment of the potential climate impacts is based on a range of scenarios of socio-economic development up to 2025 which presuppose differing tendency towards globalisation, patterns of population and economic development, and types of environmental and agricultural policy. The conference will present first results on adaptation measures in the difficult areas of water quantity and water quality management in the Elbe region .
