values
Syntax
Group: Data_Resolution

End_group
Specifications
- The entire group may be repeated
- Subfields many not be repeated within a group
- All fields may contain 1 to 80 characters of the printable ASCII
character set
More Definitions
- Latitude Resolution: the minimum difference between two adjacent

adjacent altitude values
- Depth Resolution: the minimum distance possible between two
adjacent depth values
- Temporal Resolution: the frequency of data sampled
Recommendations
- Not all fields need to be filled in, only those that apply to the
data set
- Fields are free-text, so several values may be entered per subfield
(if several values apply to the data set)
- Some example units are: m (meters), km (kilometers), ft
(feet), degree, hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly
