Biosketch

Dagmar Schröter is scientific co-ordinator of a Vulnerability Assessment Project (ATEAM) at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Department of Global Change & Natural Systems, since May 2001. From April 1996 through December 2000, she was research assistant for the EU projects Carbon and Nitrogen Cycling in Forest Ecosystems (CANIF) and Global Change and Biodiversity in Soils (GLOBIS) at the Institute of Animal Ecology, University Giessen, Germany. From December 1995 through January 1996, she was research assistant at the Institute of General Biology, Technical University Aachen. In April 2001 she completed her PhD dissertation entitled "Structure and Function of Decomposer Food Webs along a European North-South-Transect" (advisors Volkmar Wolters and Peter C. De Ruiter).
