Model Output data for Wirth et al., 2021: Do details matter? Disentangling the processes related to plant species interactions in two grassland models of different complexity
This repository contains the model output data for the study: "Do details matter? Disentangling the processes related to plant species interactions in two grassland models of different complexity" (Wirth et al., 2021). The data contains results of the LPJmL (Schaphoff et al. 2018; von Bloh et al. 2018; Rolinski et al. 2018) and GRASSMIND (Taubert et al. 2012, 2020a, b) model for the simulation scenarios.
Scenarios:
- Evaluation: Used for evaluation against field observations no precipitation reduction and mowing twice a year
- Baseline_Mow: No precipitation reduction, mowing twice a year
- Baseline_NoMow: No precipitation reduction, no mowing
- ModD_Mow: moderate single year drought, mowing twice a year
- ModDNoMoW: moderate single year drought, no mowing
- ExtrD_Mow: extreme single year drought, mowing twice a year
- ExtrD_NoMow: extreme single year drought, no mowing
Simulations results are provided for monocultures (only one species abbreviation listed in the file name) and two species mixtures (both species abbreviation listed in the file name).
Species:
- PP: Poa pratensis
- PL: Plantago lanceolata
- FP: Festuca pratensis
- FR: Festuca rubra
Units are stated in the first line of each file.
Abbreviations:
- AGB: Above-ground biomass
- LAI: Leaf area index
- GPP: Gross primary productivity
- NPP: Net primary productivity
