The Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project is a community-driven modelling effort bringing together impact models across sectors and scales to create consistent and comprehensive projections of the impacts of different levels of global warming. Find out more about the project.
From 28-30 October, ISI-MIP participants will meet at the ETH, Zurich to work on papers analysing the output of historical runs completed as part of ISI-MIP 2.1.
A new review paper from Huber et al. has appeared in Earth System Dynamics, summarising past undertakings to characterise comprehensively and quantify climate impacts based on multi-model approaches. The paper then reports on ISI-MIP, showing how this and similar efforts can substantially advance the science relevant to impacts, adaptation and vulnerability.
