Guests from Finland discussed about cities

05/29/2017 - Practitioners, city planners and scientists from Finland visited Germany. On their tour, they stopped over at PIK to discuss cities, the future of cities and how to make them sustainable together with the citizens.

Fritz Reusswig from RD4 gave some insights on the processes behind the feasibility study on a climate-neutral Berlin and Potsdam.

Diego Rybski from RD2s city flagship followed with a talk about the RAMSES project, showing some results on damages, flood risk and other topics they discussed within the EU project.

The guests were mainly involved in the Climate street-project as well as in the mySMARTLife-project and were highly interested in the risk modelling and political processes towards sustainable cities.
