Too big to be pumped away - opportunities to counter future sea-level rise

Within the lecture series "The future has already begun - scientific solutions, ideas and utopias for a planet worth living" of the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung, the renowned scientist Anders Levermann from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) speaks about opportunities to counter current and future sea-level rise. This is a problem probably too big to be solved even by unprecedented geo-engineering such as pumping water masses onto the Antarctic continent. Entrance is free, no registration necessary. Event in German language.
