Science2Power: Which research do we need for the energy transition?

"The Energiewende (energy transition) has reached a difficult point, that has to be overcome for its success. The challenges are big, the keywords are: new market design, withdrawal from coal-fired generation, from the energy to the transport and heating transition, sector coupling, ensuring wide acceptance, endangerment of the diversity of actors, prosuming and comprehensive participation of as many groups of society as possible. To deal with all this, the Leibniz Society and the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences invite to a joint event following Leibniz' slogan 'theoria cum praxi'." On board is PIK-scientist Fritz Reusswig. He will lead a workshop on energy conflicts. Event in German language. Admission is free, registration necessary.
