Climate Justice

Lecture and panel discussion. John Schellnhuber belongs to the world's most renowned climate scientists and is founding director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). At a joint event by PIK, the Heinrich Böll Foundation and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (RLS), he gives an overview of the current state of science on climate change and its impacts. In the following, Dagmar Enkelmann from the RLS and Barbara Unmüßig from the Böll Foundation speak on the opportunities of political foundations to contribute to Climate Justice and show examples of sustainable political education. Finally, the three speakers discuss on the keyword "Climate Justice" - one of the core issues concerning climate change adaptation and mitigaton. The event will be held in German language without translation. The entrance is free, no registration necessary.
