Berlin Climate Day 2018: Is Climate Change already here?

Day of Action. "Our speakers give concrete answers: physicians from Berlin, farmers from Brandenburg, staff members of insurance companies and the water companies Berliner Wasserbetriebe report from their daily work routine about specific impacts of climate change", says the invitation to this year's Berlin Climate Day. The stage program is scientifically underpinned by researchers from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK): Dr. Manfred Stock explains the interconnections between climate change and heat extremes, and Dr. Fritz Reusswig introduces the pilot project Climate-Neutral Living in Berlin (KliB). The diversified stage program is all-day long and surrounded by several workshops, info desks and a children's program. The event will be held in German language without translation. No registration necessary, the entrance is free.
