Contributions from natural sciences will elaborate on mechanisms of the climate system. Moreover, through socio-economic and political dialogues, the conference aims to shed light on the meaning and scope of anthropogenic climate change and to discuss viable solutions. The programme will be organised in five sessions focusing on specific aspects of climate change on the different continents.

The conference takes place under the auspices of the German Federal Foreign Office in its “Weltsaal” in Berlin. It is addressed to scientists, students as well as non-scientists. The conference language is English.
