  • International Commission on Water Quality (ICWQ) of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHC), President-elect
  • A vice-chair of the IAHS-IAHR Joint Working Group on Climate Change. The plans are to prepare a report on the current state of knowledge as regards climate change impacts on hydrological regime and the extent to which these impacts are taken into account in the planning, design and operation of water works.
  • A member of the International scientific referee group at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute. The purpose: to evaluate the integrated nation-wide high resolution modelling system.
