Oliver Tietjen

PhD student

Oliver Tietjen joined PIK in 2015 as researcher in the group Climate and Energy Policy (CAEP). He holds a Master’s degree in Public Economics from Freie Universität Berlin. His research concentrates on electricity markets, emission trading schemes and their interplay. Before his time at PIK Oliver Tietjen was consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the non-governmental organization Germanwatch. He has worked on several research projects such as the EU projects INNOPATHS and CD-LINKS.
