I am a PhD student at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) within the International Research Training Group (IRTG 1740) "Dynamical Phenomena in Complex Networks". At PIK, I work in the Ecosystem Stability and Transitions (Ecostab) group and the Copan project.

Research Interests

  • Deforestation and land-use change in the Amazon basin
  • Conceptual modeling of the co-evolution of natural and socio-economic systems
  • Complex networks and nonlinear dynamics
  • Ecological and environmental economics theory
