Research

My research at PIK aims at understanding the link between the global carbon cycle and the ocean circulation. Therefore I employ Earth system models of different complexity. In this context I am interested in the assessment and improvement of the performance of the underlying numerical schemes and parameterizations of physico-biological mesoscale processes.
