Felicitas Röhrig


Felicitas is a Research Analyst in the 'Adaptation in Agricultural Systems' working group. She coordinates and contributes to different projects researching strategies for climate change adaptation and developing micro-insurance solutions for small holder farmers in developing countries, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.

Previously to joining PIK, Felicitas worked for two years as a Climate Policy Analyst at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) in Hanoi, Vietnam. At CIAT, her research was focused on assessment and scaling-out of climate smart agriculture across South and Southeast Asia.
Felicitas holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Hohenheim (Germany), and an MSc in Latin American Politics from the University of London (UK). She is also an alumna of the postgraduate trainee program for International Development Cooperation at the Center for Rural Development (Seminar für Ländliche Entwicklung - SLE) at Humboldt University Berlin.
