Curriculum Vitae

I am Dr. Sabine Auer and together with Dr. Tim Kittel and Christina Horn I am leading the Research transfer project elena at the Potsdam-Institute for Climate Impact Research. Our goal is to found “elena international” to enable renewable power grids. I just finished my PhD at Humboldt University and at PIK which gives me three years of research background in power grid stability analysis. Now, I want to bring the concepts and methods that I acquired into application and advise remote microgrids and island power grids how to transition towards 100% renewables in a grid-stable manner.

Prior, I studied physics at TU Ilmenau, TU Berlin and worked for Siemens AG, Yale University in New Haven and the Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO) In Barcelona as a working student or intern.
