Description

This project is aimed at fostering cooperation between the two Leibniz entities Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the German Institute of Global and Area Studies. The study will examine the Climate-Conflict-and Migration Nexus in the Sahel region, joining the expert knowledge in the field of natural science with that of political science, in particular conflict studies. This multidisciplinary approach shall make for a well-rounded examination of the underlying relationship between climate, conflict and migration.
