Funded under the Seventh Framework Programme, ClimateCost aims at a major contribution towards an assessment of the full costs of global warming. Our RD organizes a review on major tipping elements in the Earth system that could be triggered by further increase of global mean temperature and outlines first steps towards the economics of tipping points.
