Next Frontier Debate: At the Melting Point

During the "Next Frontier Debate" at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, scientists and practitioners from various disciplines will debate on the question "How can the 2°C climate target be achieved in a just and sustainable way?". Representatives of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), the Integrative Research Institute IRI THESys in Berlin and the German Climate Consortium will discuss the complexity of this challenge, the current state of research and its applicability. PIK-scientist Hermann Lotze-Campen will join the panel discussion concerning the topics sustainable land use and climate change. Registration is appreciated by email until 8 November 2017, admission is free. The event will be held in German language with simultaneous translation into English.
