K3 - Congress on Climate Change, Communication and Society.

"One who wants climate protection has to speak about the climate topic - and hence is communicating climate, regardless of whether one is municipal climate protection officer, CSR manager, climate scientist or staff member of an NGO. Hitherto, the actors of climate communication in Germany, Austria and Switzerland are only seldom interlinked, beyond their own expert communities. K3 wants to promote knowledge sharing and experience exchange in this interdisciplinary community. Our aim is to provide insights on the state of the art of international science on climate communication. And we want to make new research findings useable for practicioners." Contributing to the program are: PIK-scientist Fritz Reusswig as a speaker in the workshop "What do people think about climate protection? It's the milieu", and PIK-scientist Thomas Nocke as a speaker in the workshop "What can we learn from the IPCC?" Event will be held in German language, registration is necessary.
