Conference on Climate Change, Health & Migration

"In the years to come, migration dynamics will change as a consequence of climate change. Natural disasters such as cyclones, floods, droughts and the rising sea level already threaten food security in some regions of the world and are a major influence in spreading vector-borne diseases." The Conference on Climate Change, Health & Migration organised by the Centre Virchow-Villermé for Public Health by the Charité Berlin and the Université de Sorbonne Paris aims to unite scientists and experts to better understand the health issues of climate migration, through a transdisciplinary approach. On this occasion, PIK-scientist Jacob Schewe speaks about climate change impacts in the 21st century to emphasize the significance of the topic. Registration is necessary.
