Girls Day at PIK: As in the previous year, the Girls’ Day – future day for girls – will take place at PIK on 27 April 2006. Together with scientists from the institute, girls between 13 and 17 explore occupational fields that are often not considered when looking for an apprenticeship since they are regarded to be „typical male“. In a team, girls can playfully gain information about the scientific work in the fields of informatics and mathematics and talk with scientists about their personal motivation for choosing an occupation.
