How can we decarbonise our economy? This is the question that will be discussed at the kick-off event opening a series on economic growth and climate change. Academic proponents of Green Growth will present their arguments and ideas for what they believe is needed to make developed economies green. It is about the narrative of climate-sensitive transition based on green innovation, sustainable investments, decarbonisation, and the academic research behind it.

Johanna Schiele, McCloy-fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, moderates the event.

This is the first event of a series on economic growth and climate change, organised by the student-led d\carb – Future Economy Forum and hosted by the Centre for Sustainability at the Hertie School.
