Institute PIK

The Potsdam Institute is keen to keep in contact with its alumni in Germany and worldwide, and is currently building up a database of former PIK staff and guest researchers.

Plans for the future include a biannual newsletter with news from PIK, and exploring ways to help PIK alumni stay in touch with one another.

There are many ways to keep in touch with PIK. You can follow PIK on social media channels, subscribe to rss feeds for news, or just get in touch by email.

Are you a former staff member or international guest researcher and would you like to join PIK's alumni and research alumni network? We'd be happy to welcome you to the network! Please fill in this short online registration (or print and fill in the registration form here).

Friends and Promoters of PIK

The Society of Friends and Promoters of PIK (Verein der Freunde und Förderer des PIK e.V.) supports the work of the Institute and seeks to promote its image as an international research institution. In particular, the Friends help to "oil the wheels" of the Institute by, for example, awarding prizes to PIK scientists and staff and providing financial assistance for scientific events such as PIK's annual PhD Day or the "Long Night of Sciences".
