What do you have to do to install CERA ?
Installing the CERA tables
- download the SQL scripts with the basic
Data Definition Language (DDL)
- correct the scripts for your purpose
- change the SQL dialect if you are not running Oracle
- check the LOVs whether the pull down menues are ok for you
- change the table entries where necessary (INSTITUTE, PERSON, TOPIC, LOCATION and others)

- check the log files (*.lst) for possible bugs; correct and report them
- download the SQL scripts with the basic tools and the views
- correct their dialect (if necessary) and run them

Installing the Loading Tables
If you want to install the PIK loading layer, too:
- download the SQL scripts with the Load Data Definition Language (DDL)
- correct their dialect (if necessary) and run them
- check the log files (*.lst in case of Oracle) for possible bugs; correct and report them
Installing the Oracle Forms GUI (Oracle users only)
If you want to install the Oracle Forms GUI of PIK, please read the

If you have installed the OracleDeveloper you can access the *.fmb as *.fmb.tar.gz by ftp.
