The ATEAM Stakeholder Dialogue Process

ATEAM's primary goal was to assess the vulnerability of human sectors relying on ecosystem services with respect to global change. The ATEAM assessment process was shaped by a continuous collaboration with stakeholders. We invited stakeholders to participate in a number of activities organised within the project. A number of workshops were our main platform to communicate our work, discuss it with, and obtain feedback from, stakeholders. We also approached stakeholders via interviews and questionnaires. Stakeholders helped us identify their scientific information needs. Together, we defined research directions to better satisfy these needs in future. You can download summary reports of our dialogue activities here.

Here are some of the questions we discussed with our stakeholders:

How does global change affect you and your activities? How do you manage environmental resources? What scientific information do you need?
Are ATEAM results relevant to you? Do you think the stakeholder dialogue is useful?
