Title: Phytoplankton dynamics in the North Atlantic: Studies with the ecosystem model REcoM&Co
Entry ID: 3266
Type: model output (dynamic. model)

Summary: The ecosystem model REcoM&Co (regulated ecosystem model and coccolithophores) has been used to simulate phytoplankton growth and
succession between different functional groups of phytoplankton on two sites in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Simulations were done for two sites: OWS-INDIA (59°N, 19°W) and JGOFS-NABE (47°N, 21°W).
Units are mmol/m³ for nutrients (N, C, P) and mg/m³ for biomass (Chlorophyll a)
The model was run for idealized conditions, not for specific years. Each model run covers 3 years, the output are daily averages and monthly averages.
