Number of heat wave days per year

The maps show the number of heat wave days per year for different periods as obtained from UrbClim simulations. Here, a heatwave is defined as an event of at least three consecutive days where both the maximum and the minimum temperature are above their respective historical 95 percentiles. In the future more heatwave days are expected.

95th percentile of the minimal temperatures during summer

The maps show the 95th percentile of the minimal temperatures during summer as obtained from UrbClim Simulations. The corresponding temperature in degrees Celsius is color-coded as resolved by the color-bar.
