Most recent MATLAB Version Installed and Number of Licenses Increased
The most recent version of Matlab software has been installed on the cluster. At the same time the number of licenses available for concurrent use has been increased considerably.
The number of concurrent users of the MATLAB base software license has been increased to 20 and the number of concurrent users of the Statistics Toolbox has been increased to 10.
The standard version has not been changed and using command "matlab" on the login nodes will bring up version 2010b per default. In order to try out the most recent version use command "matlab2011" instead. Version 2011b will become the default version at the end of 2011.
An additional toolbox - the fuzzy logic toolbox - has been added to the 2011b version software.
Linux 64 bit, Windows 32- and 64 bit as well as Mac OS-X versions of the new release are available for downloads.
