Climate Impacts and Vulnerabilities - Research Domain II

The mission of RD2 is scientific research addressing the urgent need for a world sustainability transition – by studying the strategically relevant effects of climate and global change on environmental and societal structures.

The aim is to provide strategic analysis to policy makers at regional and global scales and to advance theoretical conceptualisatons of socio-environmental systems under global change through the systematic use of empirical data and computer models.
