RAGTIME - Regional Assessment of Global Change Impacts Through Integrated Modelling in the European River Basin
On the basis of an integrated modelling approach, this project
investigates possible regional impacts of global change on natural and
socio-economic systems and on social trends within the basin of the
river Elbe. Both a modelling concept and a modelling framework have
been developed which take into account the mutual dependencies between
the various systems and processes. The goal is to derive measures that
can prevent or reduce negative effects and promote a sustainable
development of the region.
