Climate
The main task will be to analyse the present climate in respect to the incidence probability of impact-relevant extreme events and to compare it to scenarios of a future climate, in order to assess the development tendencies of these events. By means of the regional climate model CLM, ensemble calculations of extreme events will be carried out to derive statistically proved indicators of climate impacts that have not been considered so far, or have only been measured imprecisely.
