Global Sustainability Summer School in Potsdam open for applications
The summer school is an intensive two-week program, including contributions from PIK’s directors Hans Joachim Schellnhuber and Ottmar Edenhofer plus IASS’s directors Klaus Töpfer and Mark Lawrence. The schedule combines perspectives from natural sciences and economics. It comprises lectures as well as a modeling exercise, and a strategy game. With enrollment limited to 35 participants, the summer school wants to attract young professionals aged 25-40 from universities, governmental and non-governmental agencies and industry over a wide range of disciplines and professions. Participants will come from all world regions, fostering international cooperation and exchange. The event will take place from July 8th to 21st.
