"Latin America on the move"
The Federal Foregin Office hosts together with the Ibero-American Institute and the House of World Cultures a conference on Latin America and the Caribbean. Daniel Klingenfeld will moderate a plenary session about "climate and environment: a common challenge".

Under its motto “Latin America on the move”, the conference will highlight major developments in, and opportunities for the region. In various plenary sessions and panel discussions, actors from politics, business, culture and society will discuss new contexts, shared values and interests.
What stance will Latin America adept in the 21st century? How can the quality of life in megacities be improved? How can the challenges of climate change be tackled? These are just some of the topics the conference will focus on.
