Biosketch
Jane Feehan works in the European Environment Agency, based in Copenhagen. She is a member of the Agency’s Biodiversity and Ecosystems group, and her main areas of work are biodiversity and climate change, assessments of the Natura 2000 network, management of the EU’s biodiversity clearing house mechanism (CHM) and liaising with a number of European research projects including ALARM (Assessing large-scale risks for biodiversity with tested methods) and COCONUT (Understanding effects of land use changes on ecosystems to halt loss of biodiversity due to habitat destruction, fragmentation and degradation). Jane is a biologist by training, with a research background in rural environmental management.
