12-14 Nov 2008: Digital Earth Summit on Geoinformatics: Tools for Global Change Research
The Digital Earth Summit on Geoinformatics will be organized by the Society for Geoinformatics (GfGI) and the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) and held at the Wissenschaftspark Albert Einstein in Potsdam, Germany.

The Event will be also supported by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), the German Research Centre for Geosciences Potsdam (GFZ) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission.
The Summit will bring together leading scientists from Geoinformatics and Global Change research in order to activate and support a better exchange of ideas and cooperation in particular fields of research. Several key speakers will cover interesting insights with theirs presentations in Geoinformatics, Spatial Data Infrastructures, Digital Earth initiatives and Global Change research.
