Falko Ueckerdt
Falko Ueckerdt studied physics and economics. As a PhD student at PIK he works on accounting for electric sector variability and reliability in the Integrated Assessment model REMIND. This is crucial for deriving robust mitigation scenarios. In particular he deals with the question of how to integrate fluctuating sources of renewable energy into the electric sector of energy systems.
