I have had the opportunity to work on several areas related to our research activities at PIK: fractals and complex systems, energy, microeconomics, risk, resource economics and institutions. Research: The societal transition to sustainability. Projects: Co-leader of the group on Sustainability Transitions. Responsible for the project Synergies. Approach: Socio-economic-ecological dynamics: the emergence of social structures from economic dynamics, based on the transformation of energy and natural resources into wealth. Modelling of country economic and resource dynamics. |
