Definition of problem-solving answers to questions related to the influence of climate (on the global and regional scale ) on environment and society using dynamical and statistical model approaches

Global and regional climate analysis from the beginning of measurement value logging until present (including the atmospheric circulation)
Investigation of extreme meteorological and climatological events
Development of statistically based climate scenario models for the estimation of future regional climate developments
Collaboration in and/or management of different research projects funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the German Federal Environmental Agency (UBA), the German Research Foundation (DFG) as well as other regional agencies
