General information

The maps displays each regency's risk of area loss and rice production loss due to sea-level rise compared to all others Indonesian's regencies with coastal stretches.

Methodology

Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is applied with Indonesian's regiencies located near the sea as decision making units (DMUs), with area loss and rice production loss when 1m sea-level rise (SLR) occurs as output variables, with rice area harvested and rice needs as input variables.

The computed efficiencies are a relative measure of vulnerability of these regencies concerning area loss and rice production loss due to SLR.
