Description of the input files
Several control- and data files are required to operate the model simulation. They are subdivided into the ones that depend on a location and the ones that do not depend on a location. Definite endings are being proposed in order to create a clear abstract.
In the directory, in which the program that is to be performed is located, there has to be a separate input directory, where all required input data can be imported. The default name is ‘input’, although it is possible to use a different account name.
Overview to all input files and their identifiers:
Not depending on location :
*.sim simulation control
*.par species parameter file (z.B. species.par)
*.man management file
Depending on the location:
*.cli climate data files
*.ini inventory initialization
*.soi soil initialization
*.sop location- and soil parameter
*.con control of multi runs
Directories
Valid files are stored in the directory /data/safe/4C/4C_input, and are arranged in appropriate subdirectories:
clim climate data files
man management data files
par parameter data files
sim simulation data files
soil soil data files
stand data files to initialize inventory
These files can be activated directly through the simulation control file. For more information see README file: /data/safe/4C/4C_input/.
